Harrisburg University Graduate Student Services has launched a new support portal that can be accessed from the main University landing page at HarrisburgU.edu/Support.
The Graduate Student Services Support Portal features a comprehensive knowledge base that can be searched to answer frequently asked questions.
The knowledge base includes solution articles connecting students with campus resources and support such as academic advising, tutoring, mental health counseling, student clubs and activities, navigating university policies and conduct, disability services, and resolving academic issues. Additionally, the solution articles offer guidance and resources for faculty members around these topics as they seek to best support students.
All emails to GradStudentServices@HarrisburgU.edu will now create a ticket. Faculty and staff are asked to direct students to the portal to fill out their own ticket when possible so that student services can track their unique situations and needs during their entire time at HU. CC’ing GradStudentServices@HarrisburgU.edu on an email responding to the student will create a ticket under the faculty member’s name, rather than the student.
If your question is not addressed within the knowledge-based articles, you can select the ‘New Support Ticket’ button at the top left of the screen under ‘How can we help you today?’ to submit your question.
Graduate Student Services is excited to implement these new improvements to better serve the HU community. Stay tuned for the undergraduate portal to be launched during the summer of 2021.
