Edward Uravic Corporate Faculty (Project Management)

Ed Uravic created, teaches and serves as the Course Team Lead for the graduate course Business and Requirements Analysis. He also created, taught and served as the CTL for the graduate course Procurement, Contracts, and Risk Management. He temporarily served as the Student Advisor for the Project Management Program.

Ed helped create and administer an HU professional development program for active project managers called PM Partners and supported the Government Technology Institute at HU.

Ed previously worked in the Governor’s Office for Information Technology helping state agencies use automation to serve millions of citizens. He is an expert in project management, managing technology projects and teaching the subject throughout a 15 year career in the state government.

In an earlier career, Ed worked in the state legislature, the Congress, and as a Washington lobbyist for a group of electric companies. He has represented HU as a political commentator in local, state and national media outlets. His passion is writing, and his second novel was released in 2012.

As a Hershey native, Ed has been heavily involved in the community as the head of the local environmental group; the leader of a non-profit organization to revitalize downtown Hershey, PA; and a member of the working group to plan for the future of the town.
