The educational focus has expanded over the years to include families, consumers and businesses. In addition to its educational initiative, Data Privacy Day promotes events and activities that stimulate the development of technology tools that promote individual control over personally identifiable information; encourage compliance with privacy laws and regulations; and create dialogues among stakeholders interested in advancing data protection and privacy.  Organizers of the event seek subject matter experts in data privacy to serve as panelists or provide presentations that align with the below topics. Both panels and presentations are scheduled for 30 – 45 minutes in length and include Q & A for participants.  Data Privacy Impact Assessments- Build a Roadmap for Action- Possibly Using a Case Study Such as a Data Privacy Assessment for an Organization’s Virtual Workforce.
